WESMAN LOW VELOCITY OIL BURNERS are used with light or heavy oil for low temperature to high temperature applications. The burner body is manufactured of cast iron with provisions of sliding shutters for the burner’s manual light-up and flame observation.

APPLICATION Forging, Galvanizing, Aluminium melting, Crucible furnace, Wire annealing, Baby boiler, Heat treatment, Coal tar distillation and many more applications.

BURNER CAPACITY The air volume and pressure required to fire a given litre/ hr of oil could be selected using the tables provided in the catalog. The Combustion & Atomizing Air Capacities are provided in table-1 & table-2 below. The combustion air pressure may be as low as 15 mbar (min) to 90 mbar (max) and atomizing air pressure can be either 70 mbar for light oil and 95 mbar for heavy oil. When burning with the shutter open the burner capacities may increase depending on the furnace conditions.

OIL PRESSURE 8-14 PSI at burner inlet. If the ratiomatic valve is used, oil pressure should be as per our ratiomatic valve instructions.

TILE MOUNTING Burner tile must be fitted in the burner mounting so that there is no gap.

BURNER ACCESSORIES Burners have to be provided with Wesman Sensomatic Valves, by which very small changes in oil flow rate can be maintained. The Air/ Oil Ratiomatic will deliver oil to the burner at pressure proportional to the main air pressure, thus maintaining the correct air/ oil ratio at all firing rates. Other accessories such as manual air valves and air flexible hoses also need to be provided.
