South Eastern Railway, Golden Rock, Tiruchirapalli
In the year 2004-05, Wesman has supplied specially designed Oil Burner for Loco Boiler to replace coal firing in order to control the pollution and to restore the greeneries. This Loco is operating between Mettupalaiyam to Udagamandalam (Ooty) to drive a heritage train. Since commissioning, the train is operating smoothly.

Hindustan Zinc, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan
Wesman has supplied and commissioned specially designed upward firing Burner to heat up Cowper Stove which was import substitution job.

Neyveli Lignite Corporation, Neyveli, Tamilnadu
Wesman has supplied 48 Nos. Burner with Auto Control Instrument to install at TPS I on 12 Nos. Power Boiler each of capacity 75 MW. These Burners were supplied through Siemens Limited, Power Generation Division for Refurbishment / Up-gradation of Boilers supplied by a Russian company way back in 1960’s. All the Boilers have been commissioned with Auto Control System through DCS Management supplied by Siemens Limited.

Fitwell Engineering Company Private Limited, Mumbai, Maharashtra
Wesman has supplied 5 sets of specially designed Lance Type Dual Fuel Burner with Auto Control System suitable to accept Light Oil and Producer Gas for Driers and Kilns. The equipment was installed at Ashapura Minechem, Trivandrum manufacturing chemical powder. The system was commissioned successfully and put into operation.

KRR Engineering Pvt. Ltd, Chennai
Wesman has supplied and commissioned 2 sets of specially designed Lance Type Oil Burner with Auto Control System suitable to accept Heavy Oil installed on Rotary Roaster and Rotary Calciner at Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited, Kollam, Kerala.

Jindal Steel and Power Limited, Barbil, Orissa
Wesman has supplied and commissioned 2 Nos. specially designed Retractable Type Oil Burner with front gate arrangement installed at inclined position for 14 MW Gassifier Plant supplied by a German company. These were import substitution of German make Burner.

Aditya Birla Insulators, Halol, Gujarat
Wesman converted a number of Shuttle Kilns and Tunnel Kilns on Turnkey basis from oil firing to Natural Gas firing. The Tunnel Kiln Burners were replaced on line without production loss. The scope was laying the complete gas line from Gas Metering Station to Burners.

Other Gas Conversion Job undertaken between 2004-2005 to 2006-2007 for making Insulator in Shuttle and Tunnel Kilns with complete automation are :

BMM Ispat, Hospet, Karnataka
Wesman has supplied 10 Nos. Oil Burner to replace China make Oil Burner originally installed for their 0.6 MTPA Pellet Plant. The replacement of Burner was called for as original Burners were not operating satisfactorily. This project was accepted on turnkey basis including automation of Burners with Controls. The Burners have been recently commissioned and are not only operating trouble free but also 30-40% fuel saving has been achieved. Customer has invited Wesman to supply complete Burner System for the second up coming 1.2 MTPA Pellet Plant.

ISGEC John Thompson, Noida, Uttar Pradesh
Wesman has supplied a large Oil Pumping and Heating Unit capacity to handle 28 Ton/Hr. of Furnace Oil to supply oil to Steam Generation Plant. The Oil Pumping and Heating Unit was supplied with Screw Pump, Steam Oil Heater, Electric Oil Heater and with sophisticated instruments. The unit has been successfully commissioned recently. So far, this is the largest Oil Pumping and Heating Unit manufactured by Wesman.

L&T MHI
Wesman Thermal has successfully negotiated a large order in September 2011 from L&T MHI - a joint venture between Larsen & Tubro and Mitsubishi of Japan. This company has been formed to to supply super critical power plants ranging from 660MW and above.

The order worth over INR 60 million is for supply of Burner Valve Racks that will be used with corner fired Start Up Oil Burner for Power Boilers at 2x660 MW JP Nigrie Power Project and 2x700 MW Rajpura Power Project

Burners will come directly from Mitsubishi Japan

OVERSEAS PROJECTS

Malaysian Steel Works, Kuala Lumpur
In the year 2006-07, Wesman has supplied 14 Nos. Gas Burners to convert Bloom make Oil Burner with specially designed large capacity Gas Train, Gas Line Components, PLC Panel to convert 40 Ton/Hr. Pusher Type Billet Reheating Furnace. The entire engineering and commissioning job was done successfully.

Konkola Copper Mines, Zambia
In the year 2007-08, Wesman supplied specially designed two sets of Oil Burner for Copper Smelting Anode Furnace along with related equipment for complete automation. In addition to this, Oil Handling and Oil Preparation System were supplied for Launder Burner and Settler Furnace Burner supplied by others.
