Mould Manipulator
Wesman Mould Manipulator is designed for handling moulds in areas like Closing Station, Painting Station etc. in an automatic or semi automatic mould handling system.

It is actually a pair of specially designed tongs  having facility to grip a mould half as well as rotate it so that a particular surface of the mould is in the desired position of as required by the operator. The tong movements are done with the help of Pneumatic Cylinders or Linear Electric Actuators or Hydraulic Cylinders. Type of actuation mechanism is determined by the load capacity of the Manipulator.

Manipulators operate in hanging condition.  In other words Manipulators arms hang and moves on the application requirement. Generally a pendant type push button panel with inching facility  is used for precise positioning of Clamp Pads which are supported on universal swivel joints to allow the pads to adjust to the draft angles of the mould sides

Rollover Machines are used along with automatic mould handling plants. These automatically strip off patterns from the moulds.

Load Capacities of Manipulators available from Wesman`s range varies from 250 Kg. to 2000 Kg. with Mould Half  sizes varying from 300 Wide X 700 Long to 1200 Wide X 1500 Long.

Besides above standard machines, Wesman can also design and supply tailor made manipulator.
