CORE MACHINES (COLD PROCESS)

Wesman  make  Core Machines are rugged and capable of operating with Cold Box (Gas cured) process. These machines are manufactured for dedicated use with either horizontally or vertically parted core boxes. They feature fast, automatic operation including sand blowing, gassing and purging cycles and mechanized core removal on selected models. All these machines utilize a high capacity blow system and a dual head mechanism including a sand magazine head and a combination gas /purge head with a built in core ejector feature on horizontally parted models. Optional features such as mandrel attachments, hydraulic clamping and machine enclosures are available. These machines can be supplied with a range of support equipment including sand preparation systems, catalyst gas generators, catalyst control systems and more to create a complete core production center.

These machines are available in 5 different models. Of these 3 are suitable for vertically parted core boxes and 2 for horizontally parted core boxes with core weights ranging between 18 to 45 kgs and  core box mounting plate sizes ranging from (406 X 406) to (660 X 762).

CATALYST VAPOURISER

Catalyst Vapourisers are also called Catalyst Gas Generator. These units generate catalyst gases and heated purge air for use in Cold Box core making processes. Liquid catalyst such as Tri Methyl Amine is vapourised in an electrically heated container. The catalyst vapour is then directed to the Core Machine followed in sequence by heated purge air as programmed by the user through a supplied PLC.

Two models are available with capacities to cure upto 5 tons of chemically bonded sand per hour.

CORE MACHINES (HOT PROCESS)

Wesman`s hot process Core Machines are manufactured in two models with the largest being capable of producing solid shell cores upto 32 kgs. These machines are capable of working with all popular hot box and shell processes. Heating could be either with gas or electrical. Again gas heating could be either with Natural Gas or with LPG. Wesman hot process Core Machines are available for dedicated use with either horizontally or vertically parted core boxes. They feature automatic operation of the core production cycle including blowing, heating /curing, ejection and mechanized core removal (as and when required). Hot process cores provide fast cycle times, high core density, good dimensional accuracy and high tensile strength. Shell Cores are produced using separate blow and drain systems (including automatic sand return) for efficient production of even most intricate cores.
