PLC / INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER (LOI Wesman Thermprocess Pvt Ltd) Location: Kolkata Age: 28 to 35 years Qualification: Diploma or graduate degree in electrical, electronics or instrumentation engineering Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in industrial automation including design and commissioning of control systems, instrumentation, drives, user interfaces and PLC programming. Responsibilities: - Thorough knowledge of electrical drawings and control circuits - Complete design of control systems and automation for industrial projects - Selection of instrumentation and components including control panels - Programming of Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi or GE-Fanuc PLCs using ladder logic - Programming of SCADA packages, touch screens or graphical user interfaces using RSView or Elipse and integration with plant supervisory control systems - Installation and commissioning of PLCs, electrical panels, field instrumentation, control systems and drives at customer sites - Ability to travel at short notice and visit customer sites for extended periods of time is essential Wesman offers opportunities for dynamic professionals to advance their careers in an environment which fosters personal growth and challenges them to exceed their boundaries. Responsibilities: - Detail Engineering & Design from “Electrical , Control & Instrumentation” Engineering Specifications - To prepare specifications & detail Engineering and utilities - To prepare detail Engineering of the Electrical items like Load list, Control Panels, Cable Scheduling, Drives etc. - Preparing the BOQ, Project Schedule, Engineering planning, Project Report. - Project cost & Man power estimation - Complete design of control systems and automation for industrial projects - Selection of instrumentation and components including control panels. - Programming of Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi or GE-Fanuc PLCS using ladder logic - Programming of SCADA packages, touchscreens or graphical user interfaces using RSView or Elipse and integration with plant supervisory control systems - Site supervision during execution Installation and commissioning of PLCs, electrical panels, field instrumentation, control systems and drives at customer sites - Ability to travel at short notice and visit customer sites for extended periods of time is essential |
